well last night i replaced my opti put it all back together and notcied that the temp gauge wasnt working , but i remembered that when i removed the harness from the sensor that it spun so i went out and bought a new sensor today installed it and still no gauge. what the hell is goin on with this thing?
is it the one in the water pump or head?
the one that was spinning was the one on the water pump. i dunno wtf is goin on with it but its pissin me off!
did you put teflon tape on it? if so the sensor might not be gettin a good ground causing it to not have a good reading. silver2kws6 had that problem with this tranny temp.
the gauge goes off the one in the haed!
