hey when not working on my car i am video editing, i am looking at doing a drift/street racing/carshow video this summer, but i need to gather up some drifters and racers calgary or edmonton would be a good place to do it but anyone iterested in getting some shots down or anyone with GOOD footage (not shacky home movie shit, and it has to be digital) i would love to have it to use in the movie!
but yeah this is just to let you all know that i am planing on doing a video this year, i want a runtime of about 45 mins 15 for drift 15 for races and 10 for shows and 5 for random shit!
i’ll do it with my stock ka. its been done b4 with a stocker no need for an SR. maybe i will get some footage of mine when it goes ka-boooooom or the clutch goes. :lol:

Awsome guys, didn’t think it this many peeps allready would wanna do it! what i am thinking of a footage gathering scheme is to have a date set where we all meet up in edmonton and shoot for a day, meet in calgary and shoot, and meet in lethbridge and shoot, just so we get a variety of people from all over AB, and for filming the N-E-C-C events i am down for that forsure! any event will be good for the “show” section! i am debating on marketing this if i can get enough footage and people to participate i will market it! i allready do weddings and film the “street machine weekend” video in lethbridge so i have all the stuff to film, produce, and sell the videos!
what i need to figure out is how to do the race section! would we go cruise around and find victims or would we set them up and go to a secret location? or both?
any input for the video would be greatly appreciated!

We should be having some drift events this summer, if all goes as planned. I’m not down with videotaping streetracing though. It could get messy, if there are cameras on people.
hahaha those tickets would be funny as for car mounts i got good quality bullet cameras for the car! i will not use my dvx100 cuz the last one i used fell off :S not cool!

Where did you get them from, if you don’t mind my asking? I’ve been thinking about picking one up for quite some time, but the majority of them seem stupidly expensive for what they are. I just want to locate a supplier.
well i tried a few ways of acquiering them, first i got a wierless micro spycam off ebay! it works awsome if u wanna spy on the ladis in the change room, but for high quality filming no good, then i tryed the alternative to a small cam and mad a jib for the car! worked good until i hit a bump at 200km/h that was an expensive mistake PC-DV953 down the drain! then i found a 430 lines of resolution bullet cam at london drugs, i snagged it from them for 80 bucks with my hookup i got there, they where regular 120.00 and for 120 that is a dan good price! u need to rig up a jib to mont it onto the car but it is just a matter of getting a heavy dutty glass sucktiong cup and just a bit of creativity and u are set
the cam works AWOSME at night and even better in the day!
