Anyone old enough to remember the AMC Matador? Gremlin? Pacer? MMMMMM
gremlin and Pacer were pretty ugly, but cool for the same reason. as for the matador, it looks like a musclecar built for nerds, IMO.
I really like 78-81 chevy malibu’s.They are amazing cars, early 12 bolts swap right in with ease as do the 8.5in GN rears.Not all that heavy,right in the 3000lb range.Small blocks drop right in and so do Big Blocks (headers are a pain tho).The one below isnt mine,mine has 2 more doors :).
My mom actually loved her Pacer. I think she had a 1978 304.
I think this stems from her love of her Hornet SC…

And a tidbit from Mother Goob–AMC planned to purchase rotary engines from GM, but GM got cold feet and didn’t produce them. If they had used a rotary engine, they would have been well balanced. Oh snap.

I have a hardon for the 1989 Nissan Pulsar. Seriously, if I ever found one in good condistion, I would buy it on the spot and swap in a good motor.

haha…one of my mom’s friends had an AMC Eagle when I was little. It was in a wreck and they put a 70’s Firebird front end on it. Still looked ugly. lol
1988 ford escort gt. Mine was lovingly referred to as the “Male Escort GT” in HS. Shit box, but it was a blast to drive. It broke down and I was given a 1990 Chevy Caprice Estate wagon, black with wood trim. This was referred to as “Wood4U”.
