I remember that car from homemadeturbo.com or whatever that D-series honda turbo website used to be.
It started off with an SE-R SR20 with a home made turbo kit on it. He designed the frame from scratch in CAD (loosely based on the ATOM). The car looks pretty awesome, I don’t think I ever saw the finished product.
I love it, big props to him for taking on a project like that.
Anyone have any idea how much those pipes cost per foot that he used for the frame? Seems like he had a few long sections that a shop bent up for him…I’m really curious as to what something like this would run.
The engine is an Acura k20a3 from an RSX. It sounds awesome.
