gvr4 new pics

galant vr4s are badass.

:nod good stuff. Defintely keep us updated on *this.

LOL, I had one of these like 4 or 5 years ago. I think it was 19xx/2000. It was a pile though. I do know one thing though, the rear steer is a bastard. Oh yeah if it looks like the rack is leaking, the lines rotted out. Ahh memories. A lot of burning oil, broken bolts, and rust… Hope yours is in better shape and had no winters! Good Luck!

Good #hit… I would love to have a GVR4 again but they just don’t seem to be a reliable daily or reliable anything… Mine was #1094/2000 BTW, wonder what happened to that car? :ponder

Keep us updated…

Sick car. Always was a fan of these. Can’t wait to see some more pics.

wow these are kinda ugly lol jkjk they are sick as fuck though, super sleepers!

yea thats the only rust on the car really for some reason is the power steering lines so i just ripped it all out and im gunna rock no power steering. i want to find a manual rack for it.

they really arent pretty but that y i like it so much, the black leather interior is dirty though :cool

well im trying to do everything right hoping it will be reliable cuz thats my plain to dd it seeing how trans ams dont like snow haha

i like GVR-4’s once you work out the kinks itll be a sick little car… best wishes to you and the rear diff… and do the centers of those whels gun metal and leave the lip silver, thatll look good.

im reall jealous of that car lift

yea im not sure yet what i want to do with the wheels, either black or bronze.

any one else have a suggestion about wheels color?

Progress:

So i was pretty sick over the weekend, still am but i managed to get a little work done as follows.

torqued in my cams
put on intake manifold
all new belts and pulleys are on
finished putting drilled and slotted rotors on
and my exhaust from my 1G is cut up and put on

Ill get pics up soon.

It’s not the same as a 3000GT VR-4, newb.

Awesome GVR4. Very rare.

It might not tell you clearly if you are losing fuel pressure. Been there and done that.

i know it doesnt show fuel pressure but its still going to give me my a/f ratio and i can see when im running lean. correct me if im wrong. also once i get the car going it wont be long till i get a fpr, pump and injectors so im pretty sure 15psi for now will be just fine.

So part of your exhaust is plastic tubing?
I would have never thought of that.

thats high quality 3inch flex pipe right there, it will do for now until i can get my cousin to weld me in a peace. i figure if it works for tractor trailers it will work for me ;D

I’ve heard yes/no from many people. Irratic spray as your fuel pressure barely holds. Who knows?

Car should go good when your done with it

well we will find out soon enough if my setup works, im hoping to have it out next week if my intercooler will ever get here. if for some reason it fails on me or blows up… theres my reason to buy a stage 3 long block :banana
