The main purpose of this event will be to test a new Gymkhana course and to reintroduce drivers to the sport of Gymkhana. We will also raise awareness of the Gymkhana Grid Ken Block Invitational taking place at Irwindale Speedway on December 3rd & 4th, 2010. The press will be invited out to get semi exclusive coverage of the first Gymkhana Grid event and information on Ken Block and his new Ford Fiesta Gymkhana car. This event will have a limited amount of open spots for the general public to drive the new course, provide feedback of the course and to “mix it up” with Ken Block and other pro drivers who may be in attendance. This is not a competitive event and there will be no prizes or awards. However, the top 5 drivers that complete the course correctly with the lowest time and least amount of course infractions will receive an open invite to compete in the Ken Block Invitational at Irwindale Speedway on December 3rd & 4th.
