So recently one of my HID bulbs went out, i thought it was just a simple bulb change so i ordered two of the same current bulbs.
I put in the new H3 bulbs which are just a single low beam 8000k exact same fitting as the previous.
Light still doesn’t work so now the harness is my next possible guess.
Has anyone had the same problem? Or know what could be the possible solution?
I am contemplating buying a new kit from THL if the harness is the problem.
Any help is appreciated,
Scott
Since it is one of the bulbs going out int his order trouble shoot:
Take the working bulb and plug it into the non working side - does it turn on?
If no, take the non working bulb and plug into the work side and see if it turns ont here?
if no, take the ballast from the working side and plug into the non working side.
If you have power going to the igniter/ballast, then you need that box.
If you have no power going there, check fuses.
Check your grounds

Thanks for the help,
Forgot to mention i checked fuse from the start.
Swapped bulbs on all ballast, determined it was ballast.
Also i will be checking grounds tonight after work but it looks like a new harness is going to be needed.
Tested lines and have same power to each ballast so it is a simple ballast problem.
Thanks and close thread,
Scott.
