bought a set of hid’s for the subaru

went to install them, all wires hooked up right, everything looks good…

nothing…no click from the ballasts, no light, nada

called mike, he says there should be a ground wire, but theres nowhere for the ground wire to be, plus i see some of the units do not have a ground wire

just went back outside 5 minutes ago to try again, still nothing

headlights are H4’s, HID’s are H4’s…both headlights work hi/low beams like normal with no problems

maybe i should have got the relays they said were optional? maybe bad ballasts (both??)

thoughts/opinions/ideas/experience/test dummies willing to try?

heres a picture of the kit, not mine, but essentially the same…ballasts have 2 sets of wires…one single wire goes to the headlight socket, the other wire is actually a pair, both of which go to the bulb

jsut use the stock ground point somewhere near the battery.

if the kit did not come with one, then i would try getting some good ground wire at lowes and going DIY
