Sunday, Skurge, Me and a buddy of ours went to the Alabama swamps to shoot off some Rifles and shotguns. What a great time!
All these guns are owned by our buddy and well lets just say, It feels great being able to just clear your mind and shoot at clay targets with some high powered rifles.
On top of the shooting, I was able to have some fun with the new car. 450 miles over the weekend and nothing but fun!
Skurge will no more about the guns than me. All I know is it was a fucking kick ass time. I was really surprised, I’ve never shot really anything like these before, just a pump action 12 gauge. I was picking some targets about 70 yards or so away the first few shots I took.
hahaha… forgot about that. how funny it was when I shot that .22 flare gun after shooting the rifles and shotguns. hahaha like you said, a cap gun. lol
Im waiting for the keltec KSG to come down in price, And I Just built another AR I’m going to turn my first on into a full out bench gun. I found a bad ass scope leupold just came out with but 4 grand is a little pricey to play.
The Siaga 12 is very tough to find for a reasonable price due to an ATF “study” that could ban the importation of them. However the regular Saiga rifles are plentiful online and still very cheap.
Both of those siaga’s are dying to be converted. Esp the one with the hi cap mag in it, as the ability to run that mag removes it from the “sporting” configuration and it now needs to comply with 922r.
There are two, one siaga 12 and one Saiga rifle. Saigas are AK’s that are imported from the original Russian factory under the sense that they are in “sporting” configuration. Sporting configuration includes a max round count. Once that is exceeded 922r compliance needs to happen.
Saiga rifle my guess it is in 7.62x39
I know these guns inside and out as I build custom versions of them.
