Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but if you currently have an XM radio subscription, and you call to cancel it, they will offer you a year subscription for $77, basically half price. Maybe it’s only if you already have a year subscription, not sure.
I didn’t want it anyway, but it’s worth the effort if you actually want to keep it.

We got the 77 dollar per year when my wife bought her Element. We got 3 free months and then from what I had heard on the element forum we should have gotten an offer in the mail for 77 bucks for one year but we didn’t. So I call and said that I got the card but lost it so they gave me the deal. Then when my mom got me an XM unit for christmas last year, i added it for like 40 bucks a year or something. Then when my wife’s subscription ran out we let it go since we didn’t want to pay full price. I figured that when my current unit’s subscription ran out, I would just let it go since it would become the primary account and be like 12 bucks a month. But I just got my renewal for 86 bucks so I took it. There is no way I would pay 12 bucks a month for it though.
