Are you charged month to month? or a year contract or something? Or do they keep billing you until you cancel?
reason I ask is because I purchased XM early last summer and I can’t recall if I bought a year subscription or if it was a 6 month subscription (I want to say 6 month), then they also offered monthly billing which was more expensive. I’ve never received any kind of email or bill or charge on my CC since then (almost a year and a half later) nor has my service ever been interrupted.
Can I get back charged for their mistake? I don’t recall signing any kind of contract or anything legally binding, just gave my CC# for the package and that was that. I also don’t want to call and ask for obvious reasons
don’t ask me no more questions, and i’ll tell you no more lies…
i had it for 3 months when i got my Element new, it turned off and i haven’t dealt with them since so i have nothing to offer. XM still have Fungus? that’s the only thing i used to listen to.
heh, tried logging in and it wont let me (atleast, as long as it’s the same id you use to listen online) says the account doesn’t exist or the password is wrong.
I would just say the hell with it and leave it alone. Ive heard of this happening alot. When I worked at BB and CC we would just call XM and activate our units in our own cars as demo units.
I have Sirius, and get billed annually. The beginning of December (I can’t remember the specific date) I get billed for 2 radios for the year. The total is like $250 or something…
Sirius is $142/yr for the first radio.
Just over $90/yr for the second.
Plus activation, if you just added a new radio. Usually a new line comes to around $100 for a year.
