Satellite radio people, how does the subscription work?

There is some truth to that. Sirius is starting an a la carte service, where you can get some of the better XM channels.

I rent cars often, and allot of them have XM. I think that XM has very little organization of their channels. It’s hard to find anything without a guide. Also, their channels seem to be poorly thought out. Every time I listen I get the feeling that they have one person programming 10 channels. Every rock station that I listened to would have 10 garbage songs before a good one comes on.

With Sirius, I think they let enthuisits program. Sirius came out after XM so I think, they were able to critique and improve.

I forgot to mention that I purchased a 2 extra online subscribtions for my brother and mom.

Yeah, any time I’m in my dad’s truck with XM, I can’t even find a goddamn regular rock station. Whether it be classic rock or modern or just a mix. Nope, no freaking clue where it is.

if you like classic rock, check out the bone yard  They play a lot of really great music (CCR, Traveling Wilburys, Steely Dan, Yes, etc)

I don’t really listen to much modern rock though. 9 times out of 10, it’s set to the virus (Opie and Anthony/Ron and Fez)

The Fungus was an outstanding punk station, but they just replaced it with AC/DC Radio (which plays a lot of that genre). The decade stations are decent too if you’re in the mood for some nostalgic pop songs lol
