If it doesnt have a dampener on it get one…if it has one make sure its working properly.
Very good point :thumb
Most frames are not 100% straight from the factory, each manufacturer has their own specs on what to let pass, but it’s not unusual to see stock bikes with frames that are .03 to .05 of a degree off (factory tolerance). Now it might not sound like much, but that can be enough to effect the wheel alignment and as mentioned above if you match the lines on the swing-arm when you’re frame is slightly off that would make the wheels not straight.
ahhhhhhhhhh maybe ! when these idiots at procycles put my rear tire on possibly??!?!
mo fo’s i’ll go get my chain tightened cuz they put the tire on and the chain is pretty fuckin loose if you ask me
thx for the info
sorry to be dumb but whats tank slapping? when the handle bars hit the tank? or when you hit the tank ?
You should have about an inch of play in the chain. I would definitely re-check it if you just had the rear tire off and now are experiencing that problem.
ahh ok yea it has about an inch but either way im goin to get it checked out this week see wats goin on
today i hit the NASTIEST pot hole and it realyl sucked cuz i about fell off my bike LOL
dude, no need to get it “checked out” for the chain issue, you can do it DIY style… if you need help, feel free to give me a buzz, I’m sure vlad will be more than willing to come over to my garage to help troubleshoot
yep, head shake and tank slappers come from the front and rear tire not tracking right in the same line.
ok i checked the markings on the tensioners or what ever they are spelled, and they LOOKED to be the same… idk its a pain in the ass right now im thinking about 400 things lOl
caliper that bitch just to make sure
