What exactly are you planning on doing. I’m sure one of us could offer some tips/help.
Well a number of things…
I just bought the car and have barely looked under the hood once so I want to do a good once over and work out all the bugs before I start modding or before winter/school rolls around.
I plan on:
Degreasing the engine bay
Cleaning the IACV to hopefully correct my idle variance
Adjusting the IAA Valve to bring my idle down to 700
Clean the throttle plate in the throttle body
Fix a nasty squeek in my front suspension
Pull a stuck bolt on my liscence plate that has had the head torn off
Replace the CD Player/Deck
I also want to look into the knock sensor if the above does not fix the rough idle. Its not too bad, but I want my ride running smooth.
All in all, this stuff is not that difficult to do (from what I have read)… but I have never worked on a Nissan before and I have extremely limited experience with imports at all. Help would definately be appreciated but I don’t want to take up your guys time for simple stuff that I could do with a book.
