Hauling a Lowered Car

I’m looking into the best way to trailer my car to get tuned. Im going somewhere around 300 miles. Its a civic thats lowered and has somewhere around 4 inches (maybe less) of clearance with the front bumper on. I plan on renting a dolly or car trailer from uhaul but don’t know which one will work out better. Either way i know im going to have a tough time getting it on.

Anyone have any other suggestions or which one would work out better?

If your front doesn’t clear, just progressively add 2x6 in front to drive up on to before you reach the ramps of the trailor. Also, you will prolly have to climb out the trunk or hatch after the car is on cause the doors wont clear the wheel wells of the trailor. That is what I had to do when i Trailored my WS6 down to Tennessee.

dolley

unbolt front bumper. will make life a lot easier. have to do that a lot of times when i haul lowered shitboxes. along with jacking front of trailer up and using boards to help clear

Can you just drive it to Hybridynamics?

great suggestion :bigthumb:

Do what normal people do…or the pittspeeder who towed his del sol on the parkway.

Flatbed that shit

bread truck

the guys that bought my SHO towed it from the south hills to kittanning with a chain thru an old driveshaft.

ill tow it, ive towed a car before! :naughty:
