Have an idea for wheels...opinions?

Soo…I’ve been thinking lately, do I really want to spend the extra $$$ and buy summer tires/rims? Not that I’m cheaping out, but here’s my idea…

Sandblasting and powder-coating my stock rims gold (almost like the STI gold rims) and then lowering the car via Eibach pro-kit.

^that color.

Also, if anyone could photoshop my the car lowered with gold rims that’d be sweet, I’m just playing with ideas right now before I go ahead with stuff for spring.

Thanks!

^^Pictures for anyone that could photoshop this for me (sorry the bad quality, its from my phone)

ehhh I dunno about white/tan/gold. I say burrow a wheel or 2 from an STI owner and see what the color would look like on the car before you do anything.

i always likes the stock 5 spoke eclipse wheels

me too, i figured that the wheel gap is horrendous, so keeping the wheels, refinishing them and lowering the car might be the way to go?

i say you get rid of that windshield banner first :puke:

keep 'em polished

lol funny thing you say that, cuz yesterday i ended up tearing part of the “E” off and decided that its gone come spring lol

im looking for a car like yours i always wanted a convertible for summer

A better offset would make the car look better though, I would get some new/used wheels if your not looking to break the bank.

Jeller

he could just run some spacers to push them out a tad…

if you really are… http://nyspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45063

It’s something i’ve been thinking about alot lately

lol no way for 7g’s

ill give ya like 3

black or keep em polished.

Yeah, definately go for the lowering. IDK about gold wheels though

lol. KBB it then, but whatever, whats ur opinion on the wheels, thats what i’m looking for anyways lol

those stock wheels are hot leave em, and it is 7 grand in the kbb damn XD

I’m disappointed. Before I started reading I thought you bought an STi. :tif: on the bronze, it will look about the same either way.

haha, that wouldve been quite a teaser photo for it lol

I have never like running spacers. They are good looking stockers though

Jeller

you dont need to sand blast and PC… just clean and skuff up the current finish and paint with bronze wheel paint… then clear…
