As strange as it sounds my car was attacked by Pitts today. I walked out my front door tonight and found 2 big Pitts I have never seen before standing beside my car. I scared them off when I came out and wondered what they were doing around my car. To my horrer they ate my front 2 fenders and bumper, scratched up the hood and both doors. The police report lists it as a felony and are looking for the owners of the dogs. Looks like a trip to Platnum.
its hard to see how bad the damage is due to the car bing silver. The bent parts are quite deep and having them reworked is out of the question. New panels and new bumper will have to be ordered. So things that need to be re-painted due to this are: both front fenders, hood, bumper, windshield frame, both doors, both mirrors. Basically 2/3 of the car is gong to need painting so that makes it an entire re-paint.
I bet that a cat or squirrel was scared up into a wheel well or under the car, and the dogs went ape shit.
When I was a kid we had a boarder collie that would go apeshit when fireworks or loud noises went off.
When we went on vacation during the summer to ohio, we would leave her in the laundry room, and my neighbor would come by and let her out and feed her etc.
We came home and the neighbor was in our house flipping out.
The dog had gotten scared and chewed the door handle on the laundry room door, thrown her body against the door until it opened, then she ran into the living room and scratched the glass on my dads new prized 27 inch magnavox TV (which is still working btw, 12 years later).
Then the dog knocked over two potted tropical plants, and put dirt all over the rug, then she got into model paints and chewed that all up, then finally, she attached 4 24 packs of beer and soda, putting holes in all the cans, and there was soda, dirt, paint, all over the house.
I’ve never seen my dad so pissed in my life. Especially over the new TV set.
Till this day we’ve never had another dog, and I don’t want one in my house either.
