looks great… i would expect this kind of work from Lee
ooooooooh how nice is that!
how much that run for a customer
If that’s the one I saw when I was there with Jeller that thing is sweet. Looks better with the hood closed though.
You’ll have to stop in and talk to Lee about what exactly you’re looking for. V6’s need not apply.
damn it…i coudl really use some headers
K, I may stop by this afternoon.
To clarify: We work on V6 engines and exhausts, but Lee does not want to make manifolds for them.
Yeah, I went up and talked to Lee about a V6 one and he instantly started quivering and sucking his thumb.
I hav all of the confidence that he could do it but it would be one hell of a job, not too mention the cost.
example of a equal length for my engine.
Isn’t that an inline 6 manifold? We’re talking V6 aka 2 x 3cyl manifolds.
HC, have you guys had any issues with the merge collectors leaking, i’ve seen 2 crack from the ecessive grinding to improve airflow (burns collectors). That header looks fukin sweet though, absolutly some of the nicest workmanship i’ve seen in this area.
We used to have issues with the old pie cut downpipes cracking, but none of our manifolds (even the old unequal length ones) have had any sort of issues with cracking at the collector. We grind to shape on the inside, but the actual weld is outside (burns welds thiers on the inside…), but everything has worked out great thus far. Thank you for all the compliments guys, I can’t wait for Lee to make one for my car.
I would like to watch the person finish weld that. I don’t have welding experience, but it looks like it would be hard to reach some areas.
Actually I was interested in an Inline 6 manifold. I was going to stop out there tomorrow with Moffitt but my car has torn me to Syracuse instead. I’ll just chat with you guys when I bring his 350z out, since I’m in no rush.
That’s cool man, whenever you get a chance. Inline 6 will be slightly more involved than an I4, but much easier than a V6.
negative.
15 degree Vr6 engine.
