Hello...

Hiya, been living here for quite a while and never knew this site existed. My name’s Ivan.

Currently drive a relatives 1999 Altima GXE 5-speed. Past cars were a Ford Probe and a 3000GT. Haha this community sure would have been helpful when I was going through those. The Probe was my first car and what I spent more money on than it would cost me to buy something decent. Yeah, the things we do when we’re young, granted I’m not that much older now but learned my lesson (I think?) with that one. Some pics

The probe at first (brother hand down :stuck_out_tongue: )

Then I got my 1994 3000GT SL

Then this happened in South Carolina

That’s when I decided to do something to the car

Fidanza Flywheel and F1 clutch going in

Bumper goes on which I think is pretty crappy looking (you’ll see what I mean in the last pic) I just had it from the 3000GT for parts I bought.

Angry Eye mod? Why not!?

Fresh from the booth

All together with new wheels

After some driving

Shiny engine bay (picture isn’t so great)

Yay for FWD donuts

with some friends. Notice how the bumper sort of “floats” high above the ground? I hated that.

All of the work was done at http://www.incollisioninc.com by me while I still worked there.

Welcome

We all started somewhere, looks like you definitely made a step up… now lower it!

Welcome! It’s actually kinda fun to see the progression, but we’ve all been there at some point or another I’m sure. What happened to the 3000GT since you mentioned it was a “past” car?

Well I got engaged at the same time as the engine started knocking. I sold it for $4500. Thing about 3K’s is that most of them are like those old houses where a door needs to be kicked in a certain spot to open. I still loved it though, I would love to have another but this time a VR4.

welcome ivan!
