I heard the Voyager isn’t all it’s said to be, my cousin had it and got rid of it quickly for a few reasons. Why not the Blackberry Pearl (8100), i believe Verizon just came out with one, i have one and i couldn’t be happier with its features and productivity.
voyeger sux, its nothing like the iphone stepbrother it was suppose to be, i got the lgvx 9400, and lg vx8350, there great jay
Really? I was looking into the Voyager
Any specific criticisms?
i have the new chocolate, its pretty nice, but i really like the vx9400 as well
i tried the voyager out for a day, i didnt like it
you guys are the first that ive heard anything bad about the voyager from. any specifics that you dont like? or were you just expecting it to be similar to the iPhone?
a few of my friends have that and the chocolate. both seem to be pretty solid phones. the Motorola Razr v9m is another good choice. i have that (im a sprint customer) but verizon also offers it. very solid phone, works great. especially w/the new opera browser for web browsing.
HTC is also coming out w/some new smart phones for verizon / sprint. if you can hold off a month or two and want to go that route id definitely wait. HTC makes some great smart phones.
v9m
Yeah my buddy has the V9, for cingular though, it’s a sick phone. It has some sweet features too.
yea, its a great phone. if you get the usb cable, there’s some neat little hacks for it to.
also, some of you might find this useful if you browse the web from your phone:
Opera released a great browser. it’s optimized for phones, so it keeps down on your data usage if your not on an unlimited plan.
ive had smart phones. htc does make some nice phones, but Im not in the market for a smart phone. I absolutely hate the pearl. I ended up going with the voyager, I guess I will shoot it a quick review once I take a look at it. I’ve had about 15 phones in the past 2 years
im thinking about getting rid of my chocolate and gettin a blackberry style phone with the intrawebz and shit on it
Unless you don’t truly need a phone like the Pearl, or a voyager, or any other smart type phone what’s really the point of spending that much on a phone to TALK to someone? My job requires me to have a smart phone with constantly being on the road I need e-mail constantly updated to me.
come to sprint and get the treo!!
for anyone thats thinking about signing up on sprint and wants to save a boatload of money sign up at:
email to use is: holiday@sprintemi.com
there’s other plans to choose from $30 being the lowest which gives you 500 anytime minutes. since most of my friends are on this, its what i use since i just use PCS to PCS minutes.
if your already a sprint customer, you can call up cust. service and ask about the SERO plan. they should switch you over if you know enough about it. ive been on it for about a year now. its great.
the plans include various anytime minutes 500 being the lowest
unlimited vision (internet / data)
free roaming
pcs to pcs
unlimited text messaging (this changes from time to time and they offer something different like free internationally calling…depends on the time of year)
and a bunch of other stuff…all the infos listed under each plan.
Ive had nothing but lg phones for the past 4 years, from verizon, and there the best phones ive ever had, i preorded the lg 8300, when it first came out, now EVERY verizon owner has one, why, because Not one problem. read phone scoop, you’ll see.
