HELP...noise after IM install

I have a b16a in my civic and we installed a skunk2 intake manifold and when putting the injectors back on there was no apparent need for the spacers that were on the fuel rail before. So we didnt reinstall them. but now i have a rattling noise coming from the injector/belt area and im not exactly sure if that is what happens regularly without the insulators off or what. so im just trying to find out if that is where the noise is most likely coming from. everything else was done right to my knowledge, so thats the only thing i think it could be i just wanted to see if that is what you guys thought as well.

thanks

I would think the general purpose for an insulator is to eliminate vibration to a certain extent. I woudl think this to be the cause.

you definitely need to reuse BOTH the seal ring and the cushion ring. The piece you might not reuse are the fuel rail spacers…I can’t remember off-hand in the b16 has them or not.

ya so if i didnt re-use the fuel rail spacers than it could give me that clicking sort of noise. its running fine but the sound is just uncomforting. and ya thats wait i was talking about i was in a hurry posting this this morning. and the b16 did have them till i didnt put them back on
