Hello helpful speeders! Heres the scoop on my car needing help from you guys (the CAR GODS!). I have replaced the coil pack on my 04 jetta 2.0. Replaced the spark plug wires as well at the same time. Car ran great for a few weeks. Now the check engine light is back on and has hesitation when trying to accelerate. I opened the hood in the dark last night n noticed sparking along one on the spark plug wires from the coil pack to the spark plug. It looked to me as if I can see the sparking through the insulated wire only in one of the wires. What do you dudes think of this? Im strapped for cash as of late and dont want to but new wires to find out that this isnt the problem. thoughts?

Sounds like a defective wire. If you bought the parts from the auto parts store they do carry a warranty.
Maybe like he said a defective wire. Maybe swap it from one cylinder to another and see if the problem follows, return the bad wire and get a new one.
