Are you just looking for color options?
Not sure where you’ll be jumping, but neon colors or bright colors may just attract more unwanted attention.
On the contrary, if youre doing this in secluded areas, it may be of benefit with the “body recovery” efforts.
Yeah, on that page there’s an interactive canopy designer. Honestly a giant black parachute is likely going to attract just as much attention as a giant green parachute, so it’s a somewhat moot point.

are you jumping anywhere now? skydiving? you know most places wont even teach you the basics of BASE unless you have 200jumps or more. Theres a 1/30 chance of fatality if you stick with the sport. I work at 3 dropzones, hope to see you out there!
I was just planning on buying a BASE rig without ever learning the basics of skydiving.
Nah. I have made 74 skydives in the past 3 months. I’m taking the BASE First Jump Course with Sean Chuma in Twin Falls, Idaho in June. By then I will have well over 200 skydives. The lead time on the gear is 14 weeks, though, so I want to be sure that I have it in time.
What DZs do you work at?
Sweet, give you credit, I may be interested in BASE later in life, I work(ed) at Rochester skydivers, WNY skydivers, and used to work at frontier, I’ll be working at frontier a few days a week this year. I’m a pilot for them. I started AFF and hopefully this year I can finish it at frontier. Sweet rigs!
