:bloated:
yea, the evo9 is a 2006, right?
anyhow, it is really interesting stuff, basically any climate, temperature, air pressure, elevation and driving conditions has a map. so to tune it, you must take a crazy amount of time to adjust each map accordingly to the specs you want…
…for being almost eight years old, this stuff is pretty cool and it is interesting learning what engineers were trying and did accomplish with this technology…
…and the new trionic8 software is supposed to be even more technical…
Hahahha, Dan… You make me laugh…
There is no such thing as lag on a GN…
mine was way bad, it literally took 1-2 seconds for full spool b4 i got the converter.
What stall was it before you got a new converter…?
there are not a hundred billion maps. there are a handful, and still only a couple maps that are the main fuel/ ignition maps.
yea, not a “hundred billion” but it is still a lot, comparatively speaking, because on my UTEC(there were 10 maps),however, and that is a big however, these were:
0=stock specs
1=stage1
2=stage2
3=stage3
4=stage4
5-10 were valet mode, low boost mde, and some other stuff.
…however, the UTEC was much simpler and easier to fool around with. I was running on my own stages(0=87octane map) with the UTEC, that is until mike at innovative road-tuned it.
stock converter is 2700 i believe, i threw the new turbo on it b4 the new converter, lagggggggggggggggggggg
bought a 3200 to compensate.
4000 on my eclipse, w00t! Anyway, enough thread hijack, I am a huge hypocrite now…
