It’s going in to the shop next weekend for another paint job and some more aero. So I figure I’d snap a few pics before it went in for some more cosmetic surgery. It’s 350z stone silver with east bear mirrors cf hood yada yada yada.

some 5000k HIDs baby. so bright that it makes my fogs useless but i still leave em on cuz i like the yellow. heh.

i didnt like the orange. the clear ones stood out too much. I didnt wanna bother tinting the clears so i said fuckit and just painted them.

Overall a petty nice car…just a few things that bug me about it.

-Painted over amber marker (Silly mod and potential HTA violation)
-Spoiler (Huge pile of plastic stuck on the back end)
-HIDs mounted in a non-projector housing (So when you blind oncoming traffic they can drive right into you!!! Yay!! :roll: also potential HTA violation)
-Get rid of the Silvia badges (They make it look like you’re trying to hard)
-5 lug would be nice (but really isn’t needed unless you drive the car hard)
-Wind deflectors look like CT specials (They really are best left for minvans and SUVs)

Anyhoo this is just nitpicking, post up more pics when you finish up

true but before i did it, i noticed most cars dont even have amber side markers. plus my new bumper wont have holes for them. ive been pulled over a handful of times since ive done it over a year ago and no cop has ever mentioend anything about them to me, so i wont bother with them for now.

authentic jdm Navan s14 spoiler. s14 owners know how to appreciate it. but i agree its not for everyone, so to each their own. i’ve actually contemplated taking it off/getting a diff one. but i already filled in the 3rd brake light on the trunk (the spoiler has its own) and new holes had to be drilled to have that installed so it would be too much hassle.

they’re pointed low and dont blind on coming traffic (i’ll drive towards you head on and u can see for yourself ). hardly any glare at all and the cut off is quite sharp surprisingly. one or two dudes on ziptied have a similiar set up and i had them send me pics before i committed to this. ive read all the hid planet BS and decided that it was too much trouble and costly for a proper retrofit. (approx 1000usd with FK lenses and bmw/s2k bulb/ballast etc. plus all the custom fab work/time involved and the risk of screwing up my only set of headlights.) for that kinda bling i wouldve just done an s15 conversion while i was upgrading stuff and getting my body work done. i got a great deal on the hid kit and the results really arent as bad as the hid planet hardcores make it out to be. so why not. plus s15s are overplayed and too many ppl want a kouki. i wanna show them a zenki can be pimp as well.

even if you drive it hard its not needed. Your wheel wont fall off cuz its only got 4 lugs instead of 5. if you spend the 3 grand for proper wheels, custom offsets and lug patterns are made to your own specs anyways. the 4/500 bucks for the 5 lug swap can be put towards a set of proper deep dish JLines.
-Wind deflectors look like CT specials (They really are best left for minvans and SUVs)

theyre jdm tight (factory option jdm silvia styles) and not generic CT crap. nuff said.

Anyhoo this is just nitpicking, post up more picks when you finish up
