Hey BMW fanbois

Clearly Toyota>BMW.

Yes!!

I believe that “Toyota>BMW” was exactly what Gordon Murray was thinking when he (at first) needed a 550 hp lump to fill a gold lined engine bay…

(Although he did go to Honda first… :ninja)

:shifty

depends 1jz better for drifting

2jz better for useless trailer queen makes a lot of power goes fast car

although #2 is much more likely for me

Because…

Ronald need not explaineth himself.

Just wondering if his reasoning was the same as mine. That is all.

1j’s seem to be able to take more extended time High rpm abuse than the 2j’s on stock internals. THe 1j heads also breathe better up high

Dunno if that was WOT for the BMW but that thing looked slow. Or maybe it’s just the camera doing something to the vid?

Even giving it a little leeway, looks like about 5 seconds 0-60.

Not mind boggling fast, definitely not slow.

german hearts should stay in german bodies…

the 1j/ 2j is a great motor, but i’d rather leave it to a jap ride personally.

that’s a low 13 second car stock. not too bad for a '95-'99 n/a 6 cyl. the euro e36 m3’s are just as fast as e46 m3’s.

that motor really belongs in an e30 m3 though :excited

fixed.

I doubt many people on here caught the drift you were going with :lol
