Hey guys, I figured out how to devide by 0 (Rotary content)

nah, one of my miatas is getting an LS1 most likely. Other one will stay stock

I would rock a 20b miata… if I was rich… lol. Both of my rx7’s were not stock, but with any tiny upgrade I did, you better believe I increased the fuel flow to match it. My turbo was pretty damn quick for the few mods I had on it, and my air/fuel was always right around 12.__ (Wide band o2 of course). That was a major miss my mazda… the stock fuel system was barely enough for stock so the minute you put even an air filter on it, you were leaning out.

LOL @ 14._ AFR

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

sorry… typo. Fixed. Thats what happens when you are trying to type quickly at work when you’re not on break and your boss is walking around… lmao.

that was around mid range… obviously there was some fluctuation at higher boost/lower boost.

“Devide” huh? Thats cool, I learned how to divide in elementary school. Are they similar?

My Rx7 had a 100k when I sold it. Kid I sold it to, overheated it and its dead now, as far as I know. Just add one to the tally.

oh you learned how to divide by 0?

mind sharing that one with the rest of the class?

careful not to fold this dimension into itself in the process, thanks.

Not by 0 asshat.

yea, the tally of idiots that dont know how to maintain a car (not you, the guy you sold it to)

KL-ZE or FE-DOHC Miata!

fawwwwwk, damn typo

Stock for stock…I’d take you on that bet. The rotors in the rotary “spin” 1/3rd the RPM of the actual eccentric and induce less wear than compared to a piston with side loading. On top of that the lack of all the moving parts in a valve train is less to worry about. Given proper fuel and oil in such a test you’d likely be very surprised. Since such a test will never happen, you and I wil never exchange monies on such a bet :tongue

Rotaries fail because of asshats pushing them way beyond their design limits(ones that are VERY tough to make better), or subjected tuning for that matter.

The only true thing that completely blows about a rotary is it’s fuel consumption. That’s pretty much it.

and it’s complete lack of tourque…and ability to pull up hills…and to not need some crazy elaborate external oiling system to keep lubed…the huge radiator to keep cool…on and on…LOL

  • juan. If someone puts an LS1 in an RX8, I will buy it. Wimpy motor kills an otherwise awesome car.

:rofl :rofl :rofl

you lost me at eccentric

Holy shit, I’m dying. Rofl.

putting rotarty in my SC.

Fuck you guys

Thank you… atleast someone is on my side… lol

DAAAAAAMN! I’d love to hear how that sounds at 13,000rpm
