I’m curious about this too
I find it funny that they aim their marketing at college students yet charge $70 for jeans. I don’t know about anyone else but when I was in college I didn’t have that kind of money. I used to shop at Abercrombie but the store and the clothes have gotten so out of hand and the store is sooo annoying that I can’t even browse there anymore.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. As you can see, even the little things can set off some shit.
well… it seems i have already started a mess here with my username so for that i apologize.
as for what our look policy is? well its pretty explainitory… our company’s policy, NOT MY OWN, is that you ave to have the abercrombie look to work here. as for our customers. they need not have a certain look, as to everyone is welcome in our store…
believe it or not. our back stock room guy is actually an old manager from zumiez but he would never work on the floor because he does not adhere to our look policy.
our look policy is you mus wear whatever is in style for that specific season, which is all set forth from corporate, which resides in ohio. they decide what styles are what and when we administer the change.
we DO treat everyone equal, as i said before we have a very diverse group of individuals working at my store.
i cannot speak for others, but when i said I personally do not agree with our hiring standards, i do not follow them, i hire based on capability to do the job. my selfpersoanlly, would rather have a GREAT looking store where the customers shopping expirience is a great one rather then having “hot people” working for me who lack a brain…
any other questions about our company or anything like that please pm me or something. i feel as if i have already created some hatred of myself due to where i work. which if that is the case… makes you no better then my company, at least in my opinion
ohhhh okay, i thought A&F treated diff cx’s differently according to their appearance… the stuff you’re talking about, well - to be honest, it makes sense to me. if i were running that kind of store - i’d prolly hire people that had that look, since the lifestyle of the clothing is well, in that vein. shitty as it might be, that’s the way business works anyways. just b/c i wear a suit doesn’t make me any better of a performer, but - it looks better.

and yeah i wear flip flops durning winter… but winter here is summer like anyways so whats the difference?

I would like to punch the people in the face that work there, theyre all fake. 90% of the customers are kids who have mom and dad buy their $74 cotton button down with lame stripes, shirts. and $80 garbage jeans with fecal matter spattered on em. The look, the people and the corporation(from ohio :gotme: ) are a joke. you my friend are a cleeee shay!
Some of the people that work there. Well maybe it’s just here in Buffalo are not that hot at all!! And if the workers ever treated me with disrespect when i walked in the store i’d punch the girls in their ovaries and i’d punch the guys in the face and then i’d go shit on the coats… Welcome:wave:
so much hositility, all clothing stores are the same as abercrombie(with the exception of dept. stores)…i hate abercrombie clothes just as much as the next guy but i think some of u are taking the dislike a little too far. welcome to the site man
