Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a tweakaholic

Nice forum yinz got here.

Anyway, I’m the owner of a 95 Caprice. I bought this car about 6 months ago as my daily driver, then I got into the SS scene and started modding the h#11 out of it. It’s in nice enough shape, I’m keeping it a summer car.

The LT1 is mostly stock with just a few bolt ons. I have more plans for this winter to prepare for next summer. Next summer it’s also getting fresh paint.

I guess theres some sort of sickness that makes someone take a 4200lb car and make it fast(er).

Just recently I met up with a bunch of other Caprice / Impala owners from the Burgh and we started a club. ICISS (Iron City Impala Super Sports) If theres anyone else out here with the same sickness, look us up.

Welcome. Someone else sticking with the LT1!

Thats affirmative. It’s still a really good motor, plus I can’t afford the LS1 conversion some of the b-body guys are doing. I do want to do the t56 conversion though eventually…

Thanks for all the welcomes

my daddy has a LTurd1!:blue:

do 95 Caprices only weigh 4200 lbs?? If so, that makes me sick because my t-bird weighs 4800

Welcome!!

Yup… I think the wagons were around 4500-4600… I’ve never put it on a scale though, my numbers are from various reviews and articles found online…

Everytime we take a road trip I consider pulling onto a truck scale though…

ur cars weights 3800,if ur looking on the door, that the GVW ,gross vechical weight

yeah like the total amount of weight the car can hold including the car itself.

there was a manual caprice up at north park yesterday with a hurst emblem on the back of it.

I know whos car that is… So does Quadman…
