Just looking at that pic i’d say he’s running lighter than he claims. No mirrors, no turn signals, no emblems, no rear spoiler, etc, etc. Not that those items weigh a lot or anything, but if those visible things are gone, i’d bet that they didn’t leave any stone unturned in their quest for a 9. I have no doubt that you could get a LS1 4th gen down into the 2450lb-2500lb range if you bought everything there was to buy in chromoly, all the lexan, the lightest brakes, aluminum fab9 rear, and just enough wiring and such to get the car to run. You can get an f-bod down to 3000 without anyone knowing it, just by removing hidden stuff.
I think that was 2700lbs with driver
