Hicas and nonHicas

Whats the Diffrence between Super Hicas and a regular 240sx. I dont understand what they mean by “4-wheel steering”. is it a diffrent differential/steering rack?!

and what are the pros/cons?

well some say that you cant drift with super hicas, although i dont know about that I sure can and I have it.

althought it is 4 wheel steering i can say one thing its not like the honda prelude 4 wheel steering, it only turns the wheels a bit, to help with turning. 300ZX’s had the same thing

it also costs a lot to fix if you dont do it your self

Pro’s:

  • Made to help with emergency maneuvers at higher speeds.

Con’s:

  • Pwr steering lines run all the way to the back, and when they rust, you have to fix them.
  • The hicas rack at the back tends to rust easily also.

All and all, it’s just another thing that can go wrong. However, average people (those who are relatively uneducated on 240’s) are impressed when you tell them you have ‘4-wheel steering’

ok, now that makes sense. A dealer tried to talk me into buying this 240, not too long ago and he was saying it had 4 wheel drive, and i told him they only come in rear. But he was “certain” i was wrong. lol what an idiot.

240’s did come in 4WD, FWD and special Models with a V6.

Here’s a “Special Model” 240sx with a V6, only $3,150.00
