I just bought an 05 altima 3.5 se w/o HIDs and was wondering what physical difference between the HID and non HID are, if any at all?
HID equipped Altimas 02-06 (SER ONLY) FROM FACTORY. The only difference in hardware is the bulb type. with respects to the wiring there should be a ballast under the hood somewhere. the light is brighter and has the trademark blueish tint that HID’S are popular for. I switched to an aftermarket HID kit and the light output is much better
(02 altima 3.5).
ya but you can install them in any of that gen altima 2002-2006 go with either 6000 or 8000 for brightness!
im rockin 8k, and its an easy install to if you know how to remove your front bumper
ser housing has the reflector “cup” re-aimed a little different…tighter and pointed a little lower fromthe factory.
they are different shaped reflectors… look closely when you have an ser and regular model side by side.
dont kid yourself that youll remember well enough…see it in person at the very same time
