I want to either pickup an older rig, or buy a new rig so I can get some multiplayer going @ my house from time to time. Has anyone done this here? Do you need to run a server computer, plus the 2 machines? or can you just simply link both machines thru a crossover cable?
you can do it with a crossover, or you can place them on a network together. Personally I have a linksys 48 port switch and a cisco router on the way to my house for my network. That will get you alot of machines at a time.
