Hmm. Tire issues.

No one makes my stock tire size anymore.

175/60R14.

Now, I can either put the 185/65R14s from the Prizm on the Swift wheels, and be a whole 5mph off (and probably scrub as the overall diameter of the wheel + tire will be way too tall. Total cost: $0, but I’ll probably fuck shit up.

Or I can put my 16"s and 205/40R16s on the Metro and it’ll look like a rollerskate, but the wheel + tire diameter will be damn near perfect. May scrub inside of tire on fender. Total cost: About $250, assuming the tires don’t wear away from rubbing on the inside.

Or I can buy a set of 15" wheels AND tires, that will fit in every way, but it’ll cost me a shitload.

WTF.

15" wheels and tires != shitload

The 185/65/14 is less than a 20 mm difference in height so i don’t think it will be off as much as you think. stock was 185/60/14 right?
185*.65= 120.25 mm/25.4=4.73 inches2=9.47+14=23.47 total inches tall tire
185
.60=111 mm/25.4=4.37*2=8.74+14=22.74 total inche tall
which is less than 3/8 of an inch all around. I think it would be fine.
Correct me if I am wrong anybody?

no 24’s no care

no. my stock size is 175/60/14. NTB, Pep Boys, and Sears all looked the Swift up and said they can’t get my stock size and that I should talk to the dealer.

The tires that were on the Swift wheels were different sizes, and none of them was the stock size.

check all mayger tire makers, none left!so ur sol

Why not just go to the 175/65/14? Checked tirerack, you can get some all-season Kuhmo’s there for $28 a tire, lol

how about 185/60/14 its the same diameter but a little wider. youre gonna need it to put that 100hp to the ground. theres tons of brands available on that size.

Blanyer won’t go widerrrrr

come on out or give me a call i am sure there are some good tires you size in the pile we got 1000’s of them

come to think about it we hauled a few metro’s to the yard last year i know there are atleast 8 up there hell you may even get them with steel stock wheels to prices start at $10.00 and up

But they aren’t wider, they just have a 5% taller sidewall, which on a 175 tire translates to what, just south of 9mm taller.

oh well, lol

^^ was referring to peterocks post, mr. technicality :booty:
