Home-Built Lamborghini; Owner Gives Details

For all you home jobbers, this gives an in-depth on what is possibly the coolest home-build ever.

To entice you to read more: all aluminum, curb weight 2700 lbs. Stroked Ford Cleavland block (377 cubes; 11.75:1 static compression; 500+ hp), ZF 5-speed.

Now who said that was an AMG motor :shifty

Hasn’t this thread already been made?? I seriously forget if I saw it on here.

not about the specs. just about the car being built in the basement

nothing about suspension work… :sad

gotta hide that part. most race car builders keep suspensions specs under wraps as well.

I see, I thought I remembered it. Sweet find SBC

The extraction is my favorite. :lol

“I can’t understand why anyone would buy something when they could make it”

:+1

I didn’t bother to read the article but why didn’t the guy just find a garage to build it in? went through a lot of trouble to get it out of his basement, not to mention to have to haul that shit down a flight of stairs while he was building it.

This is really awesome, I would seriously rather a home built one of these rather than a real one fo sho

so sick

Read the article it’s pretty good. He explains exactly why he built it in his basement. I think digging his basement was probably one of the easiest parts of his whole build :lol

shit is crazy man, very well done !

yea i just got done reading it and looking all the pics, redic !

thats sick lol, i built my quad in the front entry way to my house in the middle of the winter lol
