just looked at a gorgeous house that was studs on the inside waiting to be finished. what work was done looked good but they wanted $400k, so I’m thinking ~$550k done. While that’s more than i want to spend it would be very nice knowing all the work was done right, unlike some of the houses we’ve looked at… (mold, hack job additions and repairs, ect.)
The used house market is rough. I jumped on my current house cause it was honestly the best built of the bunch. With that being said, it still needs little things, but some of the houses I looked at made you wana rent an apartment for the rest of your life.
Course for a 90k mortgage, I’ll take a little work. There is alot of stuff I wana spend my money on besides a house.
I bet I can cut a straighter/cleaner line without using tape than 95% of those who use tape.
