Homework help. (you like?)

Ok so im making this thing for class. Its all about making a kiosk for a museum or something or other. Now what I need to know is does this look like a shop wall? Or something that would look like it being in a shop. Or does it give you the feeling of being in a shop/garage etc.

i think it would look more shopish if the text was maybe on pegboards or a toolbox or something. workbench maybe?

It makes me think of a dirty school classroom. I think it is the green chalkboard background.

the walls are fine but the green chalkboard looks like it’s coming from a run down school.

new one posted check top

never thought of that but that could be a good thing. IE: Im trying to tell “teach” them about Import car History. :dunno:

all the references there are about japanease cars …you could put some references to other imports on there

you mean the poster looking things?

ya

i just did that for quick references but i see what your saying.

Once you would click on “History” the full effect would happen lists of cars picture etc.

What language is that? If it is Japanese… those F’ers are goofy and everything is Feng Shui and super clean… not like here.

But here’s another thought… can you make teh writting in “grease pen” and teh background a nice, shiney red, hood from a sports car?

That isnt any type of language, its called “Lorem Ipsum” its more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English.

And yes, yes.

nah doesn’t do it but I don’t know why

If these people want to know the “History of Import Cars” they are more serious than the average grease monkey. They probably would drive pristine cars - new or old - and a dirty wall and a peg board doesn’t seem like it would interest them. Seems to me they would want a garage with a mopped and buffed floor. Stainless steel workbench. Shiney red toll box with exceptionaly clean tools.

Does that make sense?

well i got to design 4 total layouts so ill keep that in mind.

Thanks for the input

Drop the boards and go for a off-white blueprint look…schematics, etc. That would be bad ass.

Give it a more classic/Smithsonian/vintage look.Get away from the typical web page layout.

I know… I’m a pain in the ass… just say it.

That would be very baddass, just no real blue prints of old import vehicles. *i think…

No actually, I mean being what I do I need as much feedback as I can get. Negative/postive whatever. It helps me out a shyt load.

like the green actually but totally agree with be rad on the blue print idea
I have a damned illustrator project im working on its killing me…whats he class anyways?
