what do you guys think of a 3mm head gasket to lower compression on a ls-v. i was hoping for high 300s but no funds for a built block. so i was wondering if that gasket could be a way out?

Do not put anything but a stock oem headasket in a B series or your asking for trouble, 300whp is so easy to achieve and will be reliable

Do OEM … Works better… Same thing with exhaust manifold gaskets. I bought a copper one and put it on and started to leak a few months later. I then got an OEM and had no problems with it at all.
i have a metal head gasket never had an issue
