Does anybody have recommendations for a headgasket on an Oringed block and a receiver groove in the head?
I have been looking at the Flatout group rubber coated copper headgaskets. http://www.flatoutgroup.com/gaskets/am.asp
Any experience with these or similar?

no need for O-ring groves … just spend a little extra and buy Cometic MLS head gaskets … IMO they are the best around and the are reusable and rebuildable
appreciate your input, but thats not an option.
Lets just assume the oringing is already done and a headgasketwhich does not change compression is needed.
i still say use the Cometics … call their tech line on monday … they are VERY helpfull
Who built the engine or did the oringing. I would ask them as if they did this procedure a few times they would know exactly which gasket to use with the best results. Good luck mike

I blew through some FelPros on my SC 5.0 … but I don’t think it was the gasket’s fault
