Well from a functionality standpoint, tires which seem too narrow eliminate any and all sidewall flex. Thus allowing the car to be very easily controlled while sliding. Flex in the sidewall can someimes allow tires to grap suddenly when you dont expect it.
I think the tires are prefect size for the application, then again I havent driven the car.
I think the car is sweet how it sits.
