So you need an understanding renter.
You can always contract out to somebody to come fix it, whether it be a local friend of somebody looking for extra money that you know.
or a tenant that can fix things themselves as they come up, along with preventative maintenance. The perfect candidate might be somebody who has owned a house, and is waiting for his ex to take over the ownership, and is tired of renting in an apartment. I don’t know where you could find a person like that
