I haven’t been able to do much with the camaro for a while, mostly due to extra money going into the house which we bought 1 year ago. Honestly, I didn’t expect to do as much as we have in this first year and its coming along really well. The 3 bedroom ranch house we bought was built in 1961, on a nice piece of level land, and hadn’t been updated since. We started by painting the whole inside of the house, ripped up all the carpet (see nasty green carpet in pics below) to reveal a nice hardwood which just needed a fresh clear finish. The kitchen was in need of new cabinets, floor, appliances (the old setup didn’t have a dishwasher), and trim.
Here’s a couple pics of pics of what we started with:
I just finished up the new kitchen in the last couple of weeks. New cabinets, countertops, dishwasher, fridge, sink, disposal, faucets, range, range hood, and ceramic tile floor were all installed by myself and Lisa. It took about 2 weeks downtime eating at my parent’s house, and then another 2 weeks finishing up with the details. Cost ~ 4k
Couple pics of the new kitchen: (See one of our dogs, Callie, likes to get in the picture)

Next up are finishing painting the outside trim, barn type shed, new windows, and a new deck. Then maybe it’ll be time for some car mods.

Nice work all around! Hubby does flooring, yours looks great! Grout joints are arrow straight from that perspective! Kudos for a job well done, and handyman = :naughty: LOL JK Nice work
come use them down at my house. i need alot of stuff done. you know how to do decks? i want one about 12’ off the back of the house with a hottub. now get to work
looks good bro…looks like what I did…moved in and spent all my $$$ and time to redo the kitchen and bathroom and a million other things…you’ll get your friends making fun of you for neglecting your car…but they will learn in due time
i’m just glad i’m able to have the camaro at all, let alone have another decent daily driver and garage keep my baby. Mac, decks aren’t that hard, if you seriously need some help planning it out or whatever, let me know
