What makes me sad is owning a nice car and only enjoying it a few months out if the year, and of those months only when it’s sunny. Then the people that do that sell the car and it’s depreciated to shit anyway because quite frankly a vette is just a mass produced car like any other.
I don’t worry about the rain, except when it comes to traction. It may be a mass produced car, but it’s still bad ass.
Have Been looking at 01-04’s. 20-25K is serious bang for the buck with relatively low miles, and I think these will appreciate over time. I’d love a nice ass yellow one.
Don’t do it…It’s very over priced for a dated car.
Buy a 2008 C6 you still get 400rwhpish/TR6060/great factory clutch and way better interior
So glad I didn’t do this. Lol. Much happier rocking the S5 and waiting for C8’s to depreciate.
I figured I’d post on here because you guys got way more knowledge about these than I do. But like @JayS said, I cannot believe how fucking cheap the C8 base is. By 2022 we should be able to pick up one of these for 40ish.
So now the real question is how would a C8 be in the snow?
Better, since the engine is over the drive wheels. My MR Fiero was great in the snow.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that i think my G8 with 520rwhp was better in the snow than my range rover sport. RWD with snows > 4wd with all terrains. I bet in deep snow the rrs would have been better but I cant remember the last time ive had to drive through deep snow around here, and thats living and clarence and working in west falls.
Well might as well buy both fuck it
Replying to my own comment, which aged like milk.
Still looking at these Z06s
2 years ago they were 20 grand, now they’re 27-45
lol im a dumb ass
I’m so glad I got my S5 instead of this dumb idea.
