Ok my friend has a 94 prelude h22. He got another 97 h22 motor for it. I hear its a pain to change cause its a obd2 motor he got. Anyone know what all needs changed in it to work in the obd1 prelude?
It’s been a while since I played with the H22 motors but I believe to run the 97 motor in the 94 chassis (with the 94 ecu) all that needs to be done is to use the fuel injectors (and fpr I think) and most likely the distributer from the 94 set-up.
its brainless tasks… dizzy and injectors for sure… just swap the harness and whatever doestn plug in change :tounge:

All the way down on the end of page 2 there’s a guy that asks about the swap direction you’re trying to do.
since waht your doing is a 5th gen into a 4th gen, all you need to do is swap the harness, use the 4th gens, dizzy, alternator, and injectors. i’ve done about 5 of these swaps.
