How deep is your Dish? 絶版ホイール 0001

sheeeeeittt…

I found this great video by zeppann13J (I wonder what that 13J in his name means! ) and it is all about rims:

Not all rims are deep dish but almost all of them are very very wide!

I wonder how many of these rims you were unable to identify the design…

This video shows how low you can go with a Nissan Cedric Y31:

When you look careful to the surroundings and cars you can only conclude the car cannot be older than a few years in this video. Also the title of the video states the car was purchased in the first year of Heisei, so that’s 1989. This fits to the period: the Y31 was built from 1987 to 1991.

Thumbs up to the person who bought a brand new Cedric, slammed it to the ground and asked his buddy to put it on video in 1989 and now put it on Youtube!

I love deep dish rims, you gotta have a decent lip and a good offset for rims to be sikk!!

those are all disgustingly small like 14-15"

with a quick search i found some 18’s that i can order (i can also get those small wheels also)

thoes are big and have lip, but are they anything with more then a 11j?

i think the rims in the video i posted were all like 14j+ LOL~

15"/14" 0 offset :open_mouth:

What’s this “J” you speak of?

width

the first 3 pics are 13j w/ -20ish offset last pic was 11j

how can I find out the “J” on my set of 16" Hasemi Sport S5’s from SSR?

or does the sticker inside the back of the rim tell all? lol

J doesn’t mean width… lol wtf. it has nothin to do with it.

J is a type of bead profile and it usually just happens to follow the width (in inches) on wheel markings

So the J# is the same as the width?

Or similar to it?

nono… there is no “J number”

the “J” is the indication itself. there’s J, JJ, P i think… maybe some others… i dont even know.

the number before the J -is- the width… but the two are not related in any way

usually I’ve seen J beside the measurements of the rim, on the sticker in the back inside part of the wheel…

for example, 16x8.0JJ

Ohhhhhh. Gotcha.

Yeah, like this:

Mike is 100% correct, J has nothing to do with the width, and is exclusively an indication of the bead profile.

Most rims will have the same profile, which is why they’re all J, or JJ, but other ones do exist in different applications.

LOL i agree, those rims in the videos are ridiculous,
btw ur gif image…
