How do I tell average internet usage?

I am contemplating getting verizon internet through a USB modem for my laptop once I leave my current apartment. Is there anyway to figure out my average usage to determine which plan would be best for me?

I’m pretty sure there is a firefox add-on that will do so. Though it won’t count all of your internet usage (just inside the browser), it will give you a pretty good idea of how much you use it.

hmm, that might work. I tried the first one from searching usage on the add-ons page, but it was basically for austrailia only. I have ‘datafox’ now. Ill see if that will work…

the broadband cards? just pay the $59.99… it’s almost impossible to use the lesser plans…

Download a program called “AnalogX Netstat Live”. Its a free util that will log total bandwidth stats on your PC.
