hope the ingram crew here is whole. I have 5 friends in another department that all got axed. They saved the company $7M last year, and might have been making $45k. MAYBE. With ingram’s typical margins, that means we have to sell approximately another $1B in widgets to fill that gap.
But, fear not, the executive crew at Ingram, top vendors, and top resellers are still going on their secret, exotic, paid-for-by-vendor-marketing-money trip. last year they rented out an entire island. This year, a cruise ship.
Bah, I’m bitter today.
I tried telling people over and over in other posts…
Ingram brings people on raises them up the ranks then whacks whole departments once they make to much or profits become sketchy
yea. it’d be one thing if they nixed the morons (there are plenty) but they just seem to throw darts randomly.
Ahh well. Good day to work for a subsidiary.
At this point I wish I got laid off…I’m seriously depressed with what’s happening at work right now.
That’s a shame about Ingram.
Can’t say I’m at all surprised though.

Having worked there I was called bitter when I gave the very same advice. LOL Now I pretend to feel sorry for people that don’t get what they can from Ingram and bounce.

recently started at Geico in the claims department.
been about 4 weeks and so far I’m enjoying it, and it beats the hell out of my old job! So I’m pretty happy about it.
