oh and on a side note, I can’t stand it when people come up with fancy descriptive names to make their jobs sound important: “Customer Account Executive” no you’re a fucking salesman, or, “Sanitation Engineer” ok mr garbage man, since when did you have to get an engineering degree to pick up other peoples shit and throw it in a truck?

being a paperboy was the best job ever! If I ever needed money I would just go and collect.

i hated it. I could never do anything with my friends after school, I always had to rush home and do fucking papers, I could never sleep in on saturdays or sundays, and like everyone on my route did that stupid pay by mail shit, and the few people I did have to collect from never ever tipped.

i started on metal side usually 140 or 240 on 2nd shift, then went to 3rd shift, then went to press side 2nd shift lines 2, 3, 5, 19, 20, 21

my dad is a die maker on 3rd shift (tool and die manager)
