Atleast once a day and I do the maintenance to support it.
Good thread, check it before buying a car in the classifieds. lol
I’m going to say…once a month IF that.
Rarely.
i almost never have vtec engage, let alone get anywhere near redline.
the bike is a different story.
Subaru never, new bike will be frequently when I get new tires.
i think i’ve hit the limiter once in 3 years … never really get up to redline in the M
everytime I drive it, which is about 6 times a month
a couple times per tank, and a tank usually last 2-5 days…
on the DD? once in a while, its supposed to save me gas.
on teh bike? When there’s an open stretch but I don’t take it up to redline, only to 12k (redlines at 15.5k indicated).
Rarely. Gas is too expensive.
very very often
the a4…Never redline, gets stretched out to 5.5 - 6 a few times a week 3-4?
bike-once since ive owned it at 13k, otherwise open road maybe 10k
car, once a month
Exactly 133 times on Monday… if you count a 6900rpm launch control as redline(so the tach says).
81 times Monday if 8500 is more technical.
Daily… prob 4 times a day if I drive the car.
i don’t think my daily has made it past 3000 rpm’s except maybe once. when i had my bike, and when i get another one on the road next year, it will hit the rev limiter at least once a day.
i made it to 50% of your redline on that bike… twice… ballin’.
Usually once a day in the Esprit, when I drive it, maybe every other time. Just enough to keep the valves from sticking ever…
The MR2’s, about half as much as the Esprit, maybe 1-2 times per week.
The IS300 not very often. The Cobra gets it 1-2 times per drive on average.
maybe once every other week if the honda is lucky
on my turbo SHO I run it to 8K regularly and only a few times run it to 8500. he revlimiter is set for 9600 so I can’t say that I have hit it.
My daily driven SHO on the other hand. Constantly.
