hey guys I bought oem side skirts and valence and im wondering what to use to glue them on as they were on a stock 240sx, should i use silicone or double sided tape ? double sided tape doesnt have too much contact i noticed… on the sides im just gonna use self tapping short screws into the metal… let me know what u guys know about this… thanks!
auto paint stores will have “body adhesive” it should come in a tube like cualking and require a cualking gun, it is how the factory attaches them…
can i use bulldog silicone ?
you should really use something thats made to adhere to automotive paint… you might get lucky using some home depot products, or you might lose a sideskirt and run over it

I bought some of this adhesive I spoke of from PPG in kitchenerr here and it was $6 a tube…

yea, use 3M or PPG body adhesive. it’s not too expensive, and meant to stick to painted surfaces. you could also use urathane for installing glass, it’s nearly the same thing.
